Paul Bayly (85kg Class)   

Paul has a background of track cycling but took up weightlifting to help with the cycling and ended up representing NSW at 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Senior National Championships. Paul has qualified to compete for NSW at the 2006 Senior National Championships. Paul's secret to training is that you should have fun and believe and challenge your self everyday. Helen Petrovic (53kg Class)

Helen is only new to the sport of weightlifting, but in the short time that she has been lifting she has managed to qualify for the state team to represent at the 2006 Australian National Championships. Peter Stewart (94kg Class)

Peter came to the sport for with football in 2006 ever since then he has continued Weightlifting and given up on the footy. Peters father Chris Stewart was one of the great weightlifters from the early days at the Burwood PCYC. In his short time in weightlifting he has managed to qualify for the state team to represent at the 2006 Australian National Championships. Alexy Stewart (69kg/75kg Class)   

Alexy is a veteran in the sport of Weightlifting. She has been competing for over 10 years and within that time has represented NSW at many National Championships, she has also represented Australia at the 1995 Junior World Championships.  For further information on Alexy click on the following link.
